I do realise that June is going to be over. Perhaps an outing next weekend? 'Cause I'm busy amusing myself with the plethora of maths formulae that I have to memorise by tomorrow. And amanda. And jonathan. And hazel. Hahahahahaha. So we shall go out after blocks, k?

Anywaaaaay, there are sooooo many good movies to watch. Shall we watch War of the Worlds? Pretty pretty please? =))

SEAN, JUNE IS ALMOST OVER!!!!!!!!!!! LOLOLOLOL

NiCK!! found himself/herself@ 8:35 PM

What do you do?
When you have nothing to do?
Stuck in class,
A pain in the a55.
Waiting and waiting,
For my friend to be finishing.
His damn project,
I can't object.
The chairs are all taken,
My welfare forsaken.
I sit then on hard disk,
Which is quite a great risk.

Help me, help me!
Tis no place to be!
To be subject to such horror,
Like dead bodies in a drawer!
I sigh and I sigh,
With bored breath of my.
To will an explosion near,
And send some panicky cheer.

Then with eyes closed,
I willed for time flowed;
To cease it's tardiness,
To speed with readiness.
I start to dream,
To form my own realm.
My ponderings began,
Of things in future gain.

That my passion is for stories,
For therein mine release.
A place of personal solace,
Imaginations like forests.
Ah, these dreams are sure attainable,
If I will strive unshakable.
But long I've dwelled in stagnancy,
Hence far my dreams from pregnancy.

For much has time been wasted!
Much hope is yet be tasted!
Carpe diem, or so they say,
To find a way, to seize the day!
My advice is to all,
Who'd listen and not ignore,
Is to take each day by it's hand,
And take each chance that is sent!

Then I awake, to realities present.
To face the has, and all the hasn't.
My friend's not done, such usual fashion.
And as I wait, I ask this question.

What do you do?
When you have nothing to do?

Study Romans 9-11. It touches on the topic on God's sovereignty over us.

These chapters speaks of God's very right of Lordship over us. So since He, the potter, created us, we, the clay, have no right over who we are and what we will become.

Election is mentioned several times over these few chapters. Election! God choosing who to be saved! Fear not the exclaimation marks, but listen to these excerpt on the matter of God's election from 'The Lion Handbook to The Bible" (it's a real book, i'm not joking.)

"In Roman 9 and 11 we have perhaps the most forthright treatment of this subject in the whole Bible. Paul's starting-point is that no one has any claim to God's mercy. He shows how God in his love has chosen certain individuals down the ages to play a special role in His purpose for the world (9:6-13). And he emphasises the wideness of God's mercy (11:28-32) . God the Creator has the right to choose, and we have no right at all to question his choice or doubt his justice.

...Paul talks about God hardening men's hearts, but in every instance there are people who have deliberately refused to listen to Him... It may be beyond our understanding how both of them (God's election and men's freedom) can operate simultaneously.... God is outside time, we cannot imagine anything beyond our limited range of understanding. So we can only take God's word for it, and hold on to both God's sovereignty and man's freedom to choose - not try to find a compromise between them."

Again, study Romans 9-11, see what conclusions you can find. Remember that faith is believing in things that you cannot see, and how true, where our limited wisdom may fail, a firm faith will provide a sense of peace.

Hope I provided a source of answer. There's still many question marks around my head on this issue. But if we are still perplexed, remember we have 3 pastors... haha.

On a side note, we must assemble a group of dinosaur hunters to flush out and destroy all the Psycho dinosaurs still prowling around. A dire threat, it is.

Nope. It's my post. And I'm Sean. Hahaha...

Anyway, ok, it makes sense that the outcome of it should be definite. But God'd know how we'd get there, isn't it? And God'd know who'd be saved and who'd not be saved, yes? So is it really free choice?

I'm not sure if I'm making sense to you guys...but oh well. =)

To our dear dear Hazel : It's really quite easy. Have you uploaded the pictures to a webbie like photobucket yet? =)

SEAN. (not swi) =DD

Question 1: I think it's virtually impossible for us to realise ALL of our sins...but it's definitely wrong to not confess those sins that we are aware of in the first place. I mean, it's our first priority to confess those sins that we know are sins in the first place. Get it?

Question 2: No. Definitely not. Pastor Graham said that it's got to do with diversity, but not necessarily the idea of disunity. Different denominations have different worship styles and different emphasis on the doctrines, so it's up to us believers to choose we kind we are most comfortable. None of them are necessarily wrong, it's just a matter of choice. Afterall, aren't we all part of the body of Christ?

Question 3: That question I asked after one of the bible studies that we had and it got everyone perplexed. I still haven't found a satisfactory answer to how we can have everything planned out for us and yet there is still a place for free choice. Indeed, does "free" choice even exist in the first place? God is all-knowing. He would definitely know how many people will turn to Him till Judgement Day. Doesn't it sadden Him to know that there will eventually still be people who won't turn to Him despite all the preachings?

I've been thinking about it for a long long time now and it's been bugging me...so if anyone could answer that well...hahaha...that'll be good. =))

Cheers to all. Mug hard for blocks all who are in JC! =)

Right. Let's have something to talk about. Can kill time for one. For two can learn something through healthy discussion, yes?

Alright, what shall we talk about? OH, but of course!

I've jotted down some theological question on my rough book. I got them from people asking them and my own meditation. Ohmm. So here goes.

Question 1: There are bound to be sins we have forgotten. Also we may not regard certain sins as sins as all due to our own environment or perceptions. So how do we confess every single sin in our lives?

Question 2: Why do we have so many denominations? Anglicans, Methodist, Presbyterian, etc... Does it reflect a church that is conflicted and divided?

Question 3a: Are all the days of a human life marked out and decided for him? If so, how does free will come into play here?

Question 3b: So if the answer to the first part of question 3a is yes, there are those who stands condemned, yes? So what's hope gotta do with these people? You know?

Yes, i can blog. i din know my username was iamawuss. so great, thanks nick once again for the save.

So.... a blog.... im a virgin... ok i did it before, i wore protection, this is my second time, so be gentle. Anyways....... a blog........ what do people put in a blog? Hmmmmm.... but given from previous examples in this blog, people talk about random stuff that pops up in their senile heads. So........ Well i hate talking about me (really)... oh i just talked about me... So i'll talk about you guys!

NICOLAS LEE! Well, first impression: Disturbed behaviour, disturbed facial expressions, and disturbed hair... very... disturbed. Din get to know him much then, but as i know him, he's quite rubbish-ish in the good sense. Whatever good sense rubbish has. He's an alright guy la, nutty's good, nutty works for pete, pete like. Now he has golden hair! Good move!

AMANDA CHUA! First impression: SHE LOOKS LIKE JIAHUI! An old yfer la. But really at first sight, wow, like long lost twins. Then a quiet gal (don't we all act all quiet at first, save for a handful la.), den last year's camp! What was our song? Man im too stoned to think, OH! KINDNESS! KINDNESS! KI-I-I-I-NDESS! We have no self control, then blah blah blah.. gets messy towards the end. And congrats on two things: Baptism. Welcome to the family. And also, welcome to the dark side. You have earned your lightsabre by suanning swi lin in a cold and calculative manner. I applaude, salute and Riverdance for you. Welcome to THIS family. Mwa ha ha.

SEAN LEONG/LEUNG! First impression: Impressive studious dude. Second impression: Impressive studious dude. Third impression: Impressive studious dude. Fourth... well you get the idea. Seriously, how can any dude be as studious as this impressively studious dude is beyond me. I mean his impressiveness in being studious is like, DUDE.... And his consistent studiousness is also bordering on the impressive of the impressive dude of dudes! Truly this dude cannot be more impressive in his studiosity, and such impressive studiousness will truly impress the dudes. So carry on being impressive studiously, dude! And my heartfelt studious congradulations to you on your impressive baptism, keep being a cool, impressive dude for God, Amen?

OOI SWI LIN! First impression: Wwwwaaayyyy back. She is your everyday sadist. Sarcastic, demented, mean. We were enemies. She wields a five inch sword. I drive a tank. Of course i kicked her ass every time. Like duh? Sword VS Tank? Anyways, we endured each other through many moments of pure, unbridled insanity that would have The Joker running away in fear. 10 years later, we survived. Call the National Geographic and the Discovery Channel, we have a breakthrough. Put it on your journals: BOY SUFFERS AND ENDURES 10 YEARS OF PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL TORTURE AND LIVED TO TELL THE TALE. GIRL IN LOCK - UP. Now wouldnt that be nice.

HAZEL HUANG! First impression: Psycho!(see above) Truly, they have radars that home in on each other. They found each other. Psychos. Psycho 1 plucks the leg hair, Psycho 2 bruises the ego. They work hand in hand, like a pack of Velociraptors hunting for dandelions. Research has discovered other Psychos, coming with big eyes, shrill voice and sharp nails. Species is very endangered. Let's do our best to snuff 'em out!

JONATHAN AU YEUNG! First impression: Stoned. Now: Less stoned, more talk, less serious, more bruise-the-ego words stuff. Dunno if you read this blog, but just wanna say you da man! Not because it means anything, but coz it sounds cool. And im sleepy and its 1 am, and im seeing floating pink elephants.

Wooooaaaahhhhhh...........
